My favorite opening credits. Not just because of the music and the slowly encroaching titles (both of which get me super pumped!) but because when every character has the best name ever, might as well go ahead and list them all before the movie even starts.
He is adapting his original screenplay, written with Douglas McGrath, into a stage musical that producers are aiming to open on Broadway in 2013.
Rob Ager’s analysis of the spatial inconsistencies in Kubrick’s The Shining. An excess of astute examples of inconsistencies (doors that lead nowhere, windows that shouldn’t exist, phantom rooms, etc.) backs the argument these were deliberately constructed to disorient and confuse the viewer.
